À propos

New space for culture and meetings, the Maison de la Polyculture exhibits a selection of tools used in agriculture in the 19th-20th centuries: scythe, fanner, winnower, pickaxe, grape basket, press, and other objects used in everyday rural life.

Whilst Ormes flourishes today in the heart of a dynamic industrial and semi-urban setting, the city also has a past linked to the traditions of Beauce and the Loire Valley. The production and land of the landsmen, farmer-workers, wine-growers and cereal farmers form a wonderful heritage to be passed on to new generations.
